This is an Indian romantic comedy. It had some funny parts in it and overall it was enjoyable.
I really didn’t watch too many movies this year and most of them were on airplanes. 6 months ago
Hahaha, Madagascar is still good. And the music at the end Afro Circus I like to move it is great! Some more music and dancing would have been good though. 6 months ago
I enjoyed it, especially because Channing Tatum was in it! But it’s a good fun movie. 6 months ago

Damn!
As difficult as it could be to watch, I am sorry to see this series end. 7 months ago
I wasn’t particularly impressed with this one. The end is cute however, but I still wouldn’t recommend it. 8 months ago

Die Hard.
I had seen parts of it at various points, but I had never watched the entire thing straight through so I thought I would. I really loved it! It looks like I’m going to have to watch all the others now, too.
And yay for finishing the goal! :D 9 months ago
The Full Monty, directed by Peter Cattaneo (an oldie but goodie—& an amazing social commentary). 10 months ago
Interesting. Some good insight into India. Loved the saying: Everything will be all right in the end. If it’s not all right, it’s not the end. 10 months ago
It was entertaining and the one brother, Tuck is sooooo hot! Was worth watching it just to stare at him! :) 10 months ago
The Fifth Element.
I went into the movie expecting it to be “hard” sci-fi, but it wasn’t, which was kind of disappointing at first. But once I realized it’s not supposed to be something “deep” or too serious and watched it as a light and funny movie, I thought it was pretty entertaining :) 10 months ago
Jacob’s Ladder.
It had a good rating on imdb, but I didn’t like it. I disliked the first half hour of the film, started getting interested half-way through, and then, just before it redeemed itself, the ending killed it for me. I won’t ruin the ending, but let’s just say it pretty much nullified the entire film. 10 months ago
Stardust.
I liked it :) It was a cute fairytale without being too corny and the comedy (like Robert De Niro dressing in drag while dancing to classical music) was actually pretty funny.
Cute movie when you want something light to watch. 10 months ago
Adaptation.
I spent half the movie thinking “what is going on?!” and trying to figure out what it was about. I don’t know whether I liked it or not since it was just so confusing (because of its meta-narrative and layered style), but I can say that it did keep me interested to find out what was happening. 10 months ago
2001: A Space Oddysey.
What a fantastic film. I didn’t find it boring at all (as some people believe it is) but magnificent and thought-provoking.
To me, the slow pace and silence of the movie helped set the eerie atmosphere and helped portray humanity’s insignificance in comparison to the great vastness of space.
Also, I loved how visual and metaphorical the film was. It wasn’t a clear-cut, explicit film, but involved a lot of interpreting by the viewer to fully enjoy.
Overall, an intriguing film that captured my attention from the first scene. 10 months ago
