I’d like to say that I am almost done with this goal. My brand will continue to evolve as I grow, but I believe that I now have a strong basis for my store identity. Below is the same to do list from my previous post. Everything that I have marked in italics is complete. So I am definitely far along in my to dos.
1. Decide on gift wrapping and buy it – beige and white polka dot tissue paper and maroon ribbon
2. Redesign picture frame inserts and have some printed for existing picture frames
3. Take fresh photos of all products
4. Once I have made more jewelry, buy or design some jewelry cards
5. Have a sticker printed to use on products and gift wrap
6. Redesign Blogger background and banner
7. Design a facebook page picture
Since I have some free time now, the next thing I will work on is #7, the facebook page picture. I need to find out the size dimensions so I can get the best use out of the space facebook allows.
The next easy goal is to get the frame inserts printed. I just have to find the time to take a visit to FedEx.
I am going home to Alabama in a month, so I should be able to grab my jewelry supplies from there and get started on goal #4. 2 years ago

I am about to collect all of my designs and redo them.
I thought I was done with this, but I wasn’t sure so I never marked it as complete. I felt that my design was a little juvenile and I was never quite satisfied. I finally used an idea that I had in my head and now it looks a lot more grown up and professional. Just like the boutique that I had in mind. Now I feel like I am working on a brand that I would be proud to have a storefront for one day.
I already did some of the things on my list from the last entry, but I’m making a new list now:
1. Decide on gift wrapping and buy it – beige and white polka dot tissue paper and maroon ribbon
2. Redesign picture frame inserts and have some printed for existing picture frames
3. Take fresh photos of all products
4. Once I have made more jewelry, buy or design some jewelry cards
5. Have a sticker printed to use on products and gift wrap
6. Redesign Blogger background and banner
7. Design a facebook page picture
Hopefully I can get this done fairly quickly. I say I’ve been waiting to get a full time job, but this needs to be set in stone so when I make random sales I’ll be more prepared. 2 years ago

Well last week I did some work on my etsy branding. I created a survey to get feedback about my site. I also started designing my business card which is in the first draft stage right now. I already have a logo and a look, I just have to design more components for the brand and make more art to sell. My list of things to do for branding were:
1. Create a survey
2. Make a business card
3. Gift wrapping
4. Make a stamp with logo to use on products/gift wrap
5. Make a sticker to use on products/gift wrap
6. Make inserts for picture frames
7. Make cards for jewelry
8. Create more distinctive products and take great pictures of them
I’ve had some motivation to do the business card and frame inserts since I will be participating in the Druid City Arts Festival in Tuscaloosa next weekend. If you plan to be there check me out – mar’contraire table! 3 years ago
