Well some stuff got screwed up AGAIN, and I had to switch my schedule around AGAIN. I realized that the hardest class I was in was a hybred class, which means it’s mostly done online with some checking in with the teacher. Which I’m so not into. It scares me, I don’t have the ability to do that, and I’m taking my first online class this semester anyways. I’m not willing to take on two. Luckily, that class, which is only offered in hat format, is one of those ‘you must take this class or this one’ deals, so I was able to drop it in favor of taking the other. UNluckily, I can’t fit the other into my schedule right now. I could take an elective, sure, but if I’m taking an elective in the place of that one, I didn’t want to also be in a photography elective. That will put me too far over what I need to graduate on time. So, my schedule now is Curriculum and Teaching in Early Childhood, Interpersonal Communication, Social Problems, Phys Ed, Foundations of Art in Early Childhood, and, the elective I was able to fit in, Intro to Art Therapy. I’m still pretty happy with this, even though I’m not gonna learn to use my camera. 16 months ago

My spring semester got a bit messed up, and I had to play around with getting into one more class. Well, all the classes I need were totally full, or offered at times when I had other classes, of when it was really inconvenient (as in taking that class would have put me on campus with one class at 8am, and my next at 530 pm…) So, I pretty much said fuck it, and I’m taking a photography class instead. I really wanted to take one while in college, and this might be my only chance. So I’m actually pretty happy with it.

Bad side: This might put me off track for my plan to graduate in the winter. Only by one course, fml, but I’m going to try for a summer course. If that doesn’t work, then you know what? I’m not gonna stress it. If I’m off by one course, I can take it the following spring, and I’m just gonna deal with it as it comes to me.

In the mean time, I’m really excited to finally be in a photography class. 16 months ago
