sierrak Trying to stay Warm! The high today is upposed to be 15 degrees!
In cleaning and sorting in the basement, I found that I had ordered a dozen plain white dish towels for this project! Gosh, they must have come in a set that big, because I certainly don’t plan to embroider that many! I have been thinking of making a set of three or four, and I need to find the embroidery transfer design and get going on this.

I’ve selected two transfers to start off with and have started embroidering one of them. They’re supposed to be a housewarming gift for someone who moved into their house two weeks ago, so I’m hoping to get the towels completed before they have been in the house for a year ;)

I have:
- a set of white dish towels (ok, a dozen – I’d like to start with embroidering four of them)
- an ample supply of embroidery thread (and it’s sorted according to color group too!)
- an embroidery hoop
- needles
- transfers for embroidering towels
I need to:
- gather up supplies so everything is in one spot
- decide what transfers to use
- iron transfer(s) onto towel(s)
- start embroidering!

I went and bought towels, needles, patterns, and I have a lot of the thread… so here we go. :) I practiced last night, and I’m going to start on my first one this afternoon. Hopefully it doesn’t all end up dusty under my bed!
