have twins

...and it’s exhausting, but wow, what beautiful boys they are!

but we are very unexpectedly expecting twins. They’ll be our 5th and 6th children, our 4th and 5th boys, and our daughter (currently the youngest) just turned 9.

I suppose the shock will wear off at some point…

I had to choose between “worth doing” and “not worth it,” and I think babies are always worth it. That is—once they’re on their way, you just have to know that it will all work out. :^ )

I put one of the few pictures I have (very blurry) of the two of them together, in a snowglobe in our livingroom.

me and my husband want to conceive twins anf we need help. actually i want to have two more kids but i want to have them all in one time.

I’ve always been fascinated by twins.. and I know that I’m still not ready for a child, but the idea of two beautiful babies, whether identical or not, doesn’t really matter.. it’s wonderful, and I’d personally love the opportunity!

I think about this A LOT because fraternal twins are genetic (identicals are NOT), and my grandmother (mom’s mom) was a fraternal twin, and my mom is a fraternal (NO fertility drugs, involved in either case!)... but my mom did not have twins. I am thinking it skipped a generation? Maybe I will have fraternal twins. I found out there are twins on my dad’s side and in my husband’s family!
