I keep on buying books at Goodwill for $1 and I have yet to read most them, so I’m basically wasting my money.

I seem to be doing ok on this goal, but the problem is that I seem to be getting more books quite often, and I have a big stack of library books waiting for me, which should be read first as they have to eventually be returned…

I finished this goal in November so I’m checking it off. Of course the proble is Christmas just passed so I’ve got a brand new pile of unread books to contend with… Ohhh what a vicious cycle!

I only have one book left!!!! A biography on Jimmy Stewart that I’m really looking forward to reading. If only I could stop requesting books from the library long enough to sit down and read it!

I was reading The Island Walkers but then a friend lent me A Thousand Splendid Suns and told me I HAD to read it. So I started today and I’ve been crying and reading. It’s beautiful.
