Hey, good lessons. I’ll keep them in mind so when I get my wings I’ll have use for the lessons. 10 months ago
Learn lots of languages, because you never know where your travels will take you! Does anyone wanna try and teach me a language besides e.glish? 14 months ago
My name is Karen and I teach tracking and stealing and many other things. First lesson is to, when tracking, stay behind and upwind. Weather it’s a wild animal or a mean guy you stay so you can follow them at a close perspective while staying hidden. Upwind is going so your enemy will not smell our designer perfume or bird scent. Easy right! Not! You have to draw up your weight and step silently by keeping your feet flatfooted. Homework is to sneak into your brothers or sisters room and take something. RETURN IT!
Did I do it right huh! 15 months ago
I’ve got an idea! You know how at school you just sit at a desk not moving most of the day? Well, what if you move your feet continually under the deskk as if you’re running. Just bounce them up and down, don’t let them leave the floor. It should give your legs a great work out and increase your stamina. 16 months ago

Okay, if I come on here saying bad things I usually wouldn’t say, it’s NOT ME. It’s some spammer. So yeah, don’t believe them. 16 months ago
Okay, this may seem obvious to you guys, if you have littler siblings in on this goal and stuff, I cannot stress the importance of YOU teaching them the basic safety and environment, especially small dangerous creatures like snakes and leeches. 16 months ago
It might happen, it might not happen, but it doesn’t matter. Snake safety is pretty important to know if you live in tropical areas or warm areas, or in the wild. f you think a snake is within vicinity, AND YOU ALWAYS SHOULD, probe the surrounding area with a wooden pole that is pretty long. At least your body height if your taller than the average 5’5”. But not really if you’re a Ripley’s display, 20’2” or something. If you meet a snake that appears to be very angry, back off. Venomous or not, this snake is gonna wanna take chunk right outta you. Usually, venomous snakes will be very brightly coloured to warn predators that they wouldn’t make a good midday snack. Some ryhmes to memorize if you haven’t already are “Red and yellow, kill a fellow”, meaning if it has red and yellow stripes, it’ll kill you. The next is “Red and black, kill a jack.” This one will also kill you. Sure, there are snakes that imitate these snakes for safety, but why take the chance? Back off and leave the area. Some venomous snakes also make certain sounds, like the infamous rattlesnake. If you haven’t learned enough to leave ANY snake alone, then at least wear proper safety gear. Wear thick socks and thick boots. BOOTS! Tough leather would be perfect. If you don’t have any, then put your toughest pair of shoes and wrap t-shirts around your leg and pull your jeans over that. It should provide enough padding that the snake won’t break your skin. This is a LAST RESORT suggestion, and not a very good one. You should always bring a good pair of boots with you. 16 months ago
I came up with an idea.
For studying, you know?
PREENING!
Almost all aquatic birds preen to help water-proof-izize their feathers. Some non-aquatic birds preen, but for other reasons such as:
a) parasitic riddance
b) to help keep their feathers in aerodynamic condition.
Since our wings are going to have aerodynamic abilites, we’ll need to know how to care for them.
Not all birds preen, as some of them do not have the pygonial or something like that gland. Some of them dust bathe and ant bathe. Some sun bathe.
Dustbathing- It’s where you basically roll around in dry dirt and sift the dirt in between your feathers by twitching them rapidly.
Antbathing- You let ants crawl all up in your feathers, being careful not to move, to eat all those delicious parasites that most birds have.
Sunbathing- You find a dry rock, and ly down on it in full sun for about an hour. This WILL tan you. Just in case you didn’t know.
Don’t wash your feathers with soap. It could be done, but it’s not recommended unless you’re covered in icky black oil. 17 months ago
Time for a lesson!
Not quite sure how many of you read my medical rants anymore
Just… Uhm…
Cleaning up blood? Sure. I’m not feeling very spontaneuos today.
So, blood is pretty important. To us, anyways.
Q:What happens if you start losing a lot of the stuff?
A: Well, do not FREAK. This will cause hyperventilation, leading to quickening of the heart rate, leading to more blood pumping around. Instead, find a sterilized object, such as a hot cloth, and try to staunch the flow of blood. The difference between life and death is a cool and collected mind, who knows what to do. If you can’t find anything sterilized, then cover the wound with your hands by weaving your fingers together and gently applying pressure to the wound.
Geez, I feel like poop today. 17 months ago

I know that we already have Blue Ridge and The Keys but this is still Amazing… Maybe a summer vacation? XD But Yeahhhh. :) 17 months ago
