Agent of Change needs to get started being who she is.
It’s the last item on my resume—a nice conversation piece.
I’m excited to learn how much I improved as a reader since I’ve started doing this professionally. My client was amazed yesterday, but I was even more amazed. This is such fun work.
I am an hereditary tarot reader, I have a method passed down to me from generations. You can learn to read accurately with my method. Curious?
I’ve tried it, I’ve had problems with it, now I’m ready to try it again, and give it an honest go. I hope I can work out an ethical way of reading the cards for a living, and truly give people something valuable for their money.
Something like this is always worth doing. I mean, helping people out…how can you go wrong?
but maybe in the next one. i’m too busy being a writer right now. but i did a past and future lifetime spread for myself, and it seems that a career in the spiritual realm exists for me in the next lifetime. so if 43things is around then, i will let you know how it goes…
i feel that doing tarot professionally means continually studying tarot. i just got this book, Living the Qabalistic Tarot by Amber Jayanti at Book Warehouse yesterday and it is really fabulous. I like it because it teaches you something even if you already have a working knowledge of tarot, unlike a lot of tarot books out there, which assume that you are a complete newbie. so supplement or compliment my studies, I’m also reading Aura Advantage and Palmistry Bible, both of which are also excellent!
i ordered a book on amazon called “Professional Tarot”-looks interesting and will help me achieve this goal. i never considered doing tarot professionally-and i’m still a tad uncertain, especially after researching it as a career. the “professionals” look hardcore—with their knowledge of the history of the tarot and what have you. but i’m really interested in it as a meditative and spiritual tool, as counsel, and it seems i have a knack for helping people figure out their issues with the tarot. so we’ll give it a shot. i don’t think i can lose anything in this endeavor because there’s always so much to learn anyway!
I can never figure out whether or not the time is right to go pro. I’ve been reading for friends/family at my kitchen table since I was a teenie-bopper. I’m seriously considering reading online somehow. There’s so many logistics to figure out though. Harumph. It’d come in handy though, cause I’ve decided to hold on a full time job till I find something that I’m willing to be dedicated to full time.
