put my cat on a diet

Cats and I are at parents house while I recover from surgery. This is not helpful to girth of either cat.

They have turned into macabre cartoon – as one eats whatever/whenever it can and expands daily, the other becomes increasingly neurotic, stops eating and becomes more skeletal.

Me isolating self from cats for most of day and at night not helpful to neurotic cat; fat cat has adapted and is as happy as a clam. I have moved neurotic cat’s food upstairs as I think it eats more when not around fat cat, and I can encourage her more.

Rescue cats; hard work…

It’s as fat as a week, as my granny used to say. Needs to lose 1.5-2lbs. I will probably have to run around the house for 2 hours a day trailing feathers on stick; this will probably have the added benefit of helping me shed a couple of bellies as well!

The tiger has a slim frame, but from the waist down, he looks like a pregnant woman. When he runs, it flops from one side to the other.
