... I would probably have made one or several mixtapes for Sophie, but this is the 00s, so we are more probably going to gather and compile a DVD full of all kinds mp3s we love, and randomly inflict them upon our unsuspicious guests, mwa ha ha.

Compiling music is something I’ve always enjoyed doing anyway.
Back in 2002, I had already done the same thing on a CD (which means, 800 Mb to fill instead of a whopping 4.3 Gb!).
Also, back when the BookCrossing french forum was cool, we had established a semi-regular stunt of copiling CD Rings, namely personal music compilations on audio CDs, which we’d then circulate among forum dwellers.

Which, incidentally, brings me to this idea, since this is something I actually miss: what about reviving the CD Ring concept here on 43T? :)
