How I did it: Whenever I was bored the first think I would think to do to save me of boredom was to go shopping, terrbile idea. before I knew it I was had a slight debt on my credit card and had no money in my bank account. I am a college student, I can not afford to go out shopping all the time (Mom and Dad don't giv eme money) so I had to learn to just stop buying on the impluse.
I ask myself before adventuring anywhere, do I really need to go there, or do I really need this? The answer is usually no. Just because you want it doens't mean you need it.
To stop myself form making purchases I simply didn't bring any credit cards or money with me when I went out. I usually brought about $5 in case I had to stop to get soemthing to eat, but that was it.
You need to realize what is important to pay for, things like bills...things that you need to do, shopping is not one of those needs.

There are some weeks when it seems like all I do is work. I have no expenses, I live at home with my parents. You would think I would be able to save some money, but I can’t. My friend and I go to the local casino and I make frivilous purchases. For now my goal is to get up to a grand, wish me luck!

Today I saved $4.00 by simply not getting a soda from gas station before and after work…something I do and have done daily for YEARS NOW…Not much but little by little the more I give up the more I will save

I’m cutting back on Frappucinos, I have also stopped drinking soda and am making my lunch for work. There’s toys I want to buy, but I’m not going to do anything about it until the debts are paid off, which sucks ass.

recession is here. i don’t care what the financial wizards say. it costs more to eat, drive, live… and yet we are making exactly what we made 2 years ago.
i want to learn to save so that when the going gets tough then i won’t have to depend on plastic or coins.

My family needs a major change.My husband and i are out of shape and we are living on of the fattest place in the u.s. We are looking to move to Atlanta . The neighborhood we are looking at is amazing . Fitness and family focused . Nature trails, 10 tennis courts and a amazing family fitness center. Well the problem is the cost and knowing we have some major changes to make in our life .

okay i need just a little help or maybe a power of attorney :). Everytime I deposit money into my saving account, I end up withdrawing it and I cannot tell you what it was spent on. every month i make a goal saying okay I”M GOING TO SAVE $1000.00, 5000.00, 10000.00 or six months worth of living exspenses i dont get past 500.00$. Maybe I will finally get it together.
