minus the thumb! Had a really strange error in one the cables, and tried to knit backwards to fix it. Holy CRAP unknitting a cable is hard!! I ended up double twisting it before I realized how to do it. In the end, it’s not totally turned out the way it needs to be, and there’s a string of yarn lying across 3 stitches somehow…. going to duplicate stitch over top of it to camouflage. Fortunately, I think this might be something only knitters will notice… 17 months ago

Knitting these for a coworker’s daughter for Christmas. Long-cuff antler cable pattern done in dark grey, very pretty and I think she’s going to love them.

I’ve reached the start of the thumb gusset on the first mitt, but my wrist was really bothering me so I had to take a break and now I’m slaving away at those owls.

Goal is to come back to this one this weekend while bf is at the UFC! 17 months ago
