host a wine and cheese party

Don’t have the time or money right now to do this properly…... I’d actually rather be doing other things. Maybe when I’m 40 I’ll try this again ;)

in columbia, mo, we hosted many wine and cheese parties. we had attendees bring a bottle of wine and a kind of cheese. we provided a fair amount of sustainance. good times.

Maybe this will happen while I’m in Oxford. Except, over there, it might become a.. “whiskey and .. cheese(?)... party” !!

What fun!

I just need the people! Here’s the problem: no one my age wants to go to a wine and cheese party. This is completely understandable because wine and cheese (together) can be associated with old people, fogies, boring if intellectual conversation, people who “snub their noses,” etc, etc.

So, I will slightly alter my goal to this: “host a totally hip wine and cheese party at which we play Twister. but here’s the catch: we’re all in formal wear.”

Yeahhhh!!!
