I love mine, I will highly recommend a Mac over a PC.
How I did it: I bought it online in australia last november before graduation. So I got an education price and gst refund since I'm leaving the country. Bought the unibody 2.4ghz one.

...but I don’t care. I love my black MacBook. His name is Skippy. He’s a beast.

Um. Words can’t even describe my unadulterated elation.
The time the average person will spend saving up for this one of a kind machine will be immediately proved well worth it once unsheathed.
I am excited about this love affair…

I was always skeptical, but macs kick PC’s ass. Hardcore.
If ever I get this I want the black one… i just have a thing for black gadgets and I am trying my best to get most of mine in the black color. There is just something about it that makes stuff look classy. In addition, if ever I get this it would be my first Mac. For most part of my life I have been using a PC so this would be a big change. But Apple has been proving itself these days with the iPods and iPhones so I think switching to a Mac is a good time now… I got to try these things at an Apple Store and its interface is amazing… it will definitely take some getting use to but it sure is a sweet laptop.

My first lasted almost 7 years and then I gave it to my ex bf and he has been using it for 2 years more. I bought another one 2 years ago…Ill never go back to a PC.

As soon as the new design comes out, I’m gonna get it. For now I’ll hang on with this PC.
I want a Macbook really badly, however, I will not allow myself to purchase a new computer until my credit card has a 0 balance. If I don’t stop spending so much and put more toward debt reduction, I’m never gonna get there.

I get rid of this goal because I convince myself that I’m far too poor and well-behaved to be doing this on my own… I am sure my family will help with this.
I never even got around to asking them… I just couldn’t assume my worth and impress it upon them to come out of their pockets for. We’re talking Poor to Lower Middle-Class here, folks.
Now, my life’s in a much different place, I’ve got money saved up and figure, “Hey! You’re in the process of revamping and improving everything else. Why not reinvest yourself in such a worthy goal!?”
Furthermore, the Mac desktop unit I have now is a hand me down with bad juju seeping from every USB port…
