Cape Hatteras is a pretty laid back town. There is a great scuba shop there called Outer Banks Diving.

Got w/in 20 minutes of Cape Hatteras and had to turn around and drive back home. I spent 45 minutes on the beach gathering seashells and watching the ocean before driving 13 hours back home. It was cold – about 45 degrees. I’m going back this spring!
