Venna Halo tis the season to discover and change
For good reason.. Moving this month!! But the budget is tight… so this is moving back to July 18th now. Need a little more income first!
How I did it: I asked around for recommendations for a local salon and just made an appointment with whoever was available. I lucked into getting a waxer who had just been declared the best in the area. Read how I did it…
Heather just got engaged!
How I did it: I am lucky to have a great waxer. I'm comfortable with her. It is like having lunch with a good friend, except without food, their is wax! It takes about 45-60 minutes and really doesn't hurt as bad as a lot of people say (or maybe I have a high tolerance for pain?). It is tender and red for about 1-2 days after the waxing, but TOTALLY worth it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: took a Benadryl before I left on the appointment, still hurt and was still uncomfortable but was worth it. Have to take a cold shower the next night though otherwise I break out in red bumps which hurt for about a week. Read how I did it…

Venna Halo tis the season to discover and change
Took the first step and requested an opportunity to make an appointment.. Yes I’m looking at what is said to be the best waxing place in town..
A change of plans.. a visitor is coming to town in a few weeks.. so, just in case we get to 4th base, I would like to have home plate ready. wink wink, nudge nudge
This is the year. Summer’s coming… I’m going to do it. Seriously, I’ve given birth twice, and I’m nervous about getting a bikini wax???

Not totally sure when this one is gonna take precendence but I did see in the local culture paper here, that there is a place that offers wine with the wax job. Sounds like a deal to me.. and yet.. painkillers 30 minutes before hand sounds comforting.
This will hopefully be in the plans sometime earlier this year.
Kaley is selling oranges by the freeway.
Once two years ago (that one cost $70), and once today (only $55)! It definitely didn’t hurt as bad as I remember, but it still hurt. However, I love the feeling of nice, soft, clean smoothness. I would put up some before and after pictures, but I don’t really want that on the internet.
Oh yeah, and at the place I went to this time, they had me flip over so they could do my butt too, so just keep in mind that your waxer might do that. And if you feel weird having a stranger look at your junk, don’t be embarrassed. These people wax coochies and booties for a living.

“If you have the waxing done enough times, will the hair eventually not grow back or grow back very soft? That would be wonderful.”
