Technically I finished this last year, but it was a bumpy enough road getting there that until I had the actual piece of paper in my hand it didn’t feel real.
I have a highly imperfect track record with formal education, which makes achieving this all the more meaningful to me.
Certainly there were times I wanted to quit, but in the end I’ve found something unexpected that I enjoy doing. More than that, I’ve found that I can do it.

I feel extremely satisfied having now completed my post graduate diploma after just over 2 years of diligent study.
At times it felt like a juggling act with all my other roles, but I learnt more than I thought I would.

The end of the road, or the start of the journey?
This was the title to my reflective essay which I have just submitted…
Now to wait for the feedback. My last essay got an A!
Fingers crossed …

I have decided to use this topic to record my thoughts as I progress my last paper.
Having read the programme requirements I see I need to submit a reflective essay after completing my 4 essays. I log into 43T most days so this should work out OK.
I’ve planned my 1st draft essay & decided to write about the legal environment as it is on the cusp of change for our industry in NZ.
There has also been significant changes and some financial advisers could struggle to adapt their businesses to the new environment. Therein lies opportunity for me as a Business Development Manager to help them prepare and adapt to changes.
