How I did it: I have really gotten a lot better at this. I started by creating a chart with goals adding goals once in awhile., reviewing progress every day and marking off what I have done. I‘ve seen a marked improvement in what I accomplish per week. Maybe event getting something done once in awhile LOL…no really I think I will call this goal done. Read how I did it…

It’s been difficult, but I think I am managing my time well here in America while I am away from Peace Corps in Mongolia. With the itinerary (which I planned in advance of coming here) as well as my day to day execution of it, I feel pretty satisfied. It is requiring a combination of planning things out and relaxing and just taking things as they come. I have certain things I just have to get done and the rest I just relax about. Big rocks and little rocks I suppose.

moving this goal to my “Given up” list. Not because I’m really giving up, but because this goal for me is better tracked by other more specific goals already on my list such as: go to bed earlier, leave my office on time, watch less TV, and create a to do list every night.

for me. My work is still spilling over into my life. While work/life is better than it was – more balanced, there is still a lot to do.
Firstly:
I need to set aside some worktime to sharpen the saw. I have a weekend off and could do some saw sharpening in my own time, but that simply means I am back at work on tuesday feeling as if I’ve had no time off so I refuse to do it(well maybe give it a couple of hours to get my head around what needs to be done and looking at my time over the next few weeks).
Secondly:
Ensure my leisure time is spent doing things that will continue to strengthen and nuture myself. Stop worrying and go with the flow.

a difficult time with this one. And I just had a monkey wrench thrown into the works.
I was scheduled for jury duty today and tomorrow. The rule is if you are not picked for a trial you are done, and if you are picked for a trial you serve until the trial is done. Today I was selected for a 3-week trial. That will take us through the 24th of this month.
I suppose there is never a good time to have your whole schedule turned over like this. I’m now working on re-prioritizing 3 weeks worth of work and personal goals including Mom appointments, tax and flex plan deadlines, car work, birthdays, etc.
It’s going to be okay… (deep breaths)

and I have a new, awesome agenda. It must help! I like that I have lots of room to write in stuff and it’s no excuse for forgetting. I carry it as much as possible, even to non school/internship functions.
I need to get on a normal sleeping schedule, though.
