I want to put others before myself. I want to do random good deeds without being recognized. I want to make the world a better place by spreading the good karma!

How I did it: Always having compassion, empathizing is definately a must. Never looking to be understood but seeking to understand and never ethnocentric in anyway possible. Hard may it be but very important. Read how I did it…
How I did it: It is understandable how many still have not come to grips with this, especially when you have you heart and mind focused on instant gratification on a certain outcome. What’s often not understood is that when your particular quest is not successful, it does not mean you as a person are a failure or that you will never achieve success in your quest. If you give up altogether and allow your setback to dictate … Read how I did it…

I want to work in a career that is both fulfilling, creative, artistic, and does work that helps someone in a relevant way. Not helping in the way like “we give you self-help books”. I mean like helping as in, we give you the tools, resources (financial or otherwise) to help people help themselves to be self-sufficient. I want that hands-on feel, not the I brainstorm ideas and someone else does it. I want to be the one in the fabulous suit in the boardroom, the researcher, the writer, and the one in the sweats and bandanna in the community getting down with the people. That’s what I want my contribution to life to be about.
I enjoy helping others. I am always looking for ways that I can bring happiness to others and realise that life is short and the best I can do in this life is to lift up those around me.
DancingGracefully Had a great day working with kids at Mini Golf. =)
Helping people is so rewarding. Just seeing the smile on their faces makes it all worthwhile. Even when that person is totally ungrateful for what you did, it still makes you feel good about yourself that you were so selfless and took the time to help them. The smallest thing can save someone’s life that day. That’s why it’s so important that we reach out to others. You never what you can do to make a difference!

This song came to mind… but Jesus tells me daily what I have to do!
I’m only human, I’m just a woman.
Help me believe in what I could be
And all that I am.
Show me the stairway, I have to climb.
Lord for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.
Chorus:
One day at a time sweet Jesus
That’s all I’m asking from you.
Just give me the strength
To do everyday what I have to do.
Yesterday’s gone sweet Jesus
And tomorrow may never be mine.
Lord help me today, show me the way
One day at a time.
Do you remember, when you walked among men?
Well Jesus you know if you’re looking below
It’s worse now, than then.
Cheating and stealing, violence and crime
So for my sake, teach me to take
One day at a time.
(Chorus)
Jay is short for "Jay."
I believe that I already do, but it just doesn’t seem like enough. I really want to HELP…the question is, how exactly? How can I use my own personal abilities and resources to help others? Hopefully, this will all become clearer to me as time goes by.
There is nothing more fulfilling in life than becoming a volunteer for an organization that you believe in!!! Not only is this a great resume builder but it gives you such a sense of happiness and satisfaction.
