"I love macs and I used to have a powerbook and I needed an upgrade."

How I did it: I simply bought one hahaha.  I'm a big Apple nerd anyway.  I have the vintage rainbow apple tattooed on my finger. :P

I am planning on getting some more memory for it tho as I can double it for something silly like £40 nowadays which isn't a great deat really in the scheme of things.

    I have to get one for law school. A lot of people are telling me to get a PC instead, but a few advisors are saying that I should stick with what I know, and there’s great outlining programs for Macs. So I’m going to get an incredibly expensive computer that will average around 1k for each year of law school.

    I’m pretty bummed because I just found out I washed one of my iPods. UGH.

    It is getting so close.

    Presumably Januari, if nothing else gets in the way.
    I’ve been the PC guy for nearly all my life, ever since I’ve switched from Commodore 64/128, now I will be the trendy Mac guy.

    I still see the downsides. But only iWeb and Logic Pro were needed to convince me into getting one. These programs are so much more functional in effectiveness, that I simply can’t go on without.

    I’m getting a real pimped out Macbook Pro, straight from Apple’s online store, when I finally receive the paycheck.

    I'm a bit concerned 8 months ago

    With the recent announcement that all of the new MBPs will have only glossy screens, I’m afraid this is going to be a “now or never” goal, while the matte screens are still around. (I put up with a glossy laptop screen for a week once before, and I regret not sending it back sooner than I did.)

    The problem, of course, is paying for it.

    I have been waiting for something by Mac other than an old iPod. I finally Got my Lovely Little G4 MacBook Pro. I love being creative, and that is what Mac has done fro me with their simple little programs that leave you with so many options. Enjoy it. I gotta make mine last eight years.
