Well, I had to pay for my college and school books plus I gave myself the birthday present of going to LA to see my bestie so that took a pretty chunk of change out of my bank account. However, I have been saving quite nicely and am back up to 900.
As soon as I get my license I want to buy a car, so I probably will have to start over again soon, eep.
I guess this is part of being an adult though, eh?

Now that I have saved $1000.00, I want to build on that and save a total of $2500.00. I only need to save $1500.00 to achieve this goal. The last one took me about three months, lets see if I can achieve this one just as quickly.

we had savings way back when… then life happened and we became irresponsible. we’re getting back on track. $2500 is the minimum amount we need each month to pay all our bills, put gas in our vehicles, and food in our tummies. ideally we would like to save $15,000, which is 6 mos. of living expenses, but we have some debt that needs taken care of. I want a little cushion for just-in-case, but what we would save after the $2500 will be applied to getting the debt paid off. sigh... to be an adult.

Now to keep it in savings and pay off the debts. It really should have gone to debts but it was so easy to transfer the extra income we had this month to the savings so I’m marking this as done. We’ll need it for the move soon.

Bills are caught up and N has been putting in quite a bit of overtime so I’m putting this away before I find a reason to use it. Right now a small savings will be taking precedent over paying off parts of cards. Sorry to pay little more than the minumum but its preparation time. Two months the baby is due and I’m out of work and in 7 we move again. Now if we can get rid of the truck and figure out a way to consolidate we will be ahead.
