As the school day drags on, I often find myself doodling vehicles ranging from track stars to big ol’ pick-’em-ups. At the end of the day, my friends look upon them and ask bewilderedly, “THAT’S a doodle?” I know how I can do it; the opportunity has not yet arisen. Some day, I’ll have a car or two designed and built from scratch by me.

CanadianGoffer16 is college searching.
Car companies just cant get it right! I want curves and power. I want new designs and vibrant colors. Screw it, I’ll do it myself.
Growing up, we didn’t have much money, so we never brought our cars into the shop when something went wrong. Instead, we would figure out how to fix them ourselves. This included everything from the muffler to body work and paint to windows, etc.
As a result, I guess I correlate working on cars with spending weekends with my brothers and my dad. I suppose this is why I’d like to do a whole car (yes, the whole thing) over the course of a few years. There are several projects I’ve had floating around in my head for a few years.
1) 1923 Ford Model T
2) 1965 Shelby Daytona
3) 1967 Mustang fastback (GT-500 clone)
4) 1933 Ford Victoria delivery van
Then again, my project of choice changes every day. In any case, I’m kinda looking forward to having a car that is built exactly the way I want it, not only for the final result, but for the process as well.
