How I did it: I've wanted one for years, but was always hesitant to make the switch from my pc. My old HP notebook died, so I made the leap and bought my MacBook! I'll never look back. I love it so much! Lessons & tips: It's a lot easier than you might think to make the switch. My main problem was that I use a lot of gaming software that isn't mac-friendly. My solution to this was just to use my sister's pc for gaming and do everything school-related on the mac. It's worked very well so far, especially since purchasing Office for Mac, which I daresay is nicer on the mac than my PC. Resources: I did a lot of research online, not just on apple.com, but various websites that compare products. |
