become a nun

but I’m putting it on my list for God to choose.

I’ve heard it said also, that you should not become a nun if you hate the idea of having a family. You will have many children as a nun (those you pray for and serve), and you will have a spouse (Jesus). So I don’t worry too much that I want a family. Because I know God will give me whatever kind He wants me to have.

Also, I hope that if God makes me a nun, it’s the kind who wears a habit. Nuns in habits always give me hope, and a reminder of Christ. It’s like a wedding band, showing you belong. :)

I really feel called to do this. People think I’m insane or something, but it is such a strong feeling, that I don’t care. I truly feel that this is my purpose in life, and that this is how I will be best able to serve Him.

its a good thing if people want to become a nun

its somthin that i have out in my mind since i opened my eys to jesus christe….and it is a way to feel clean and out of trouble…and no one then can hurt you or do bad things to you…you wnt ever have to lie cz you are where you wana be and there’s nothin to be affraid of…u wont have to yell at anyone…you wont have to care about money…you wont care about wat other poeple think…just you and jesus…

i haven’t actually become a nun, but i have seriously considered it. i have traveled and visited like 3 different convents and stayed with the nuns for a few days. some are really wacko, and some are really inspiring. all in all, it ended up not being an option for me anymore since i got married, but at one point, should i become a widow, i would consider it again.

I want to try being a mommy, perhaps I’ll become a nun when I’m older. I do plan to live a more meaniful life.
