become a nun

I want to become a nun! I’m basically a kid here but I feel a strong religious calling. I want to become more involved in my church and I feel really called to do this. The only problem is telling this to someone because I feel weird actually voicing it outloud… Anybody get what I’m saying? 15 months ago

I’ve heard it said also, that you should not become a nun if you hate the idea of having a family. You will have many children as a nun (those you pray for and serve), and you will have a spouse (Jesus). So I don’t worry too much that I want a family. Because I know God will give me whatever kind He wants me to have.

Also, I hope that if God makes me a nun, it’s the kind who wears a habit. Nuns in habits always give me hope, and a reminder of Christ. It’s like a wedding band, showing you belong. :)

I really feel called to do this. People think I’m insane or something, but it is such a strong feeling, that I don’t care. I truly feel that this is my purpose in life, and that this is how I will be best able to serve Him. 3 years ago

its somthin that i have out in my mind since i opened my eys to jesus christe….and it is a way to feel clean and out of trouble…and no one then can hurt you or do bad things to you…you wnt ever have to lie cz you are where you wana be and there’s nothin to be affraid of…u wont have to yell at anyone…you wont have to care about money…you wont care about wat other poeple think…just you and jesus… 3 years ago

I want to try being a mommy, perhaps I’ll become a nun when I’m older. I do plan to live a more meaniful life. 4 years ago
