grow a carnivorous plant

i bought 5 venus flytrap seeds off ebay. Been 7 days. No germination.

I’m absolutely heartbroken, especially in the recent death of one of my two cacti.

I love venus flytraps. Such an amazing organism and evolutionary adaptation.

yup i grew one at school in my dorm. it was really pretty easy. when i graduated i left her with my roomate. If you have thought about growing one, its pretty cool and not hard at all.

About a month ago I raided the Wal-mart plant section and brought home a butterwort and a sundew plant. So far they’re still alive, but I think they’re going dormant for the winter. My goal is to have a 10 gallon terrarium with venus flytraps and pitcher plants as well.
