... i have a friend who is all about helping me with this goal – she ran cross country in high school and we are starting to train together. Our goal is to be up to 5 miles by the end of the summer. It really helps to have someone there encouraging you along.

I got up at six this morning and ran before work – it was wonderful so exhilerating although in the end i had to cut it short cuz i thought my lungs were gona explode – i am not use to running in cold weather but i am gona just hafta get use to it cuz i dont have a gym anymore – just gona stick to the streets (i prefer them anyway- i love to run outdoors with all the fabulous creation around me) :D

I am so proud of myself I ran again yesterday and I enjoyed it even more. I also pushed myself pretty good too - ran for 15 min. straight (my friends told me to use this method instead of distance cuz this way evenutally i will be running faster and farther than i think) – and for me that is HUGE – i have never been much of a runner and when i hear of people running 4and 5 miles in day as a regular workout i get discouraged – but i realize that it takes practice and time to get there - so i may be startin small but i am gona get there :D yay!

Last night I finally had enough energy to go for a run – so i took advantage of it and jogged for a while and i must say it was absolutly wonderful—i dont really know why i make it out to be some big punishment or anything – i had so much fun and felt so good all night – so now i am changing my mindset - no more dreading going for a run - i am gona look forward to it!
