How to take more pictures

 "Took a while to get started, but now I'm hooked!"
How I did it: One day I decided to take my camera when I went for a walk. I liked taking the pictures, so the next day I took pictures of the backyard. It snowballed from there. Now i have a photo project-making a photo diary of the birds in my area. It is a great challenge because I want to take good pictures, and birds are often hard to capture because of their movements. But it is rewarding to see my progress. The ultimate highlight is figuring out parts of the camera all by myself. Learning how to manipulate flash, use manual focus, etc. It builds confidence. Lessons & tips: Make a project out of it! Or maybe find a friend and have a photography competition. Anything to give positive reinforcement. Resources: Friends! If you know a photographer, ask them to give you tips. Watch how they work. My Canon rebel XT is a great camera for someone who wants to go deeper into photography without paying the price for professional equipment.

How I did it: I Won a decent camera almost 2 years ago, I never took that many pictures and if I did they were only of myself which was pretty selfish. I decided to take the camera with me everywhere from work to school and friends houses. I started taking pictures on my phone because it’s more convenient and easier to post online. I just wish my phone camera didn’t suck. I took some pictures of myself and my cat.

since I’ve added the other goal to take a photo every day. For a week, at least, I’ve taken more pictures, and that fulfilling that goal will certainly accomplish this one.
retitled goal “take more pictures.” this is finite and achievable like goals should be.
This isn’t a realistic goal. I do not see enough macro excitement and I’m not a good enough photographer to take pictures of miniature wonders. I’ve been taking more pictures overall and I think that might qualify as a completion of this goal. In fact, I’ll go take a picture now.
