go on a medical mission trip

I just got home from Mexico yesterday. I actually went with my church, but the missionary there is a doctor. She was amazing. I am a nurse, so I was able to help deliver a baby. The baby was blue when she was born and after a little stimulation and suctioning, she pinked up and was fine! There was another baby that came in very, very sick after 8 days of vomiting and diarrhea. She was only 5 months old and had amoebic dysentery from the water. She was better after lots of prayers and a few days of IV fluids and PO meds. I was also able to help in treating many other patients. Our group also put on a Vacation Bible School for a village there and built an out house. We hope to send a group again next year! I was very blessed by this trip. 4 years ago
