As much as I love Amsterdam and being there, surrounded by cute houses and beautiful canals, it’s not so fun when you don’t have company to spend time with. Yesterday I managed to have a wonderful birthday here in Toulouse – a place I rather loathe – but I had my friends around and it was fun. I’m not saying that I discovered that good company makes anything better, I only discovered that some people around me are ready to be there for me and they appreciate me more than I allowed myself to believe. 14 months ago
