it’s not all about changing the morning. It’s about getting enough sleep the night before. I know this is obvious – and I knew it really – but I’ve noticed recently, because I’ve been thinking about it more – that a good night’s sleep transforms my waking up. I start the day feeling alive and awake and actually wanting to get out of bed, and think, and feel, and face the day. I haven’t been sleeping well recently and it’s been sort of an effort to get out of bed and be.
So an early night tonight I think. And thinking about this below will help – thank Scribbles for these wonderful words!
“Listen to the exhortation of the dawn! Look to this day! For it is Life, the very Life of Life.
In its brief course lie all the verities and realities of your existence. The bliss of growth, the glory of action, the splendor of beauty;
For yesterday is but a dream, and to-morrow is only a vision; But to-day well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of Hope. Look well therefore to this day!
Such is the salutation of the Dawn.”
