if you want to learn computer animation go to goanimation.com
I would love to do this on the computer. I haven’t done a search for a ‘flip book’ style program but if any of you know of one or two, please leave a comment.
Otherwise, my goal here is to find a small sized tracing paper book and do this the old fashioned way… flip book style and scan it into the computer to polish up afterwards.
I did create a character and a mini animation for her but she doesn’t do much but move her arms and legs up and down trying to break free from the puppet strings. pictured Her name is Merry Un Net. She is also part of a 5ft. x 4 ft. unfinished painting.

I am a programmer, but this is related to dream job of game or cg movie development… I’m not likely to ever find a job in those fields where I live, unless the industry moves here (not entirely implausible) but It would be cool to do. but, I’m not moving.
