steal a sign

Eh….actually not that exciting for very long. It was gratifying in the moment though! Good to have some lookouts…the sign we took was just a few hundred yards from where we kept it for a while, but it was still kinda risky since security and police were everywhere. And yep, we returned it within the week. :-) no point in keeping it around after you take pictures and everything.

It seems like a college prank rite-of-passage. I’ve stolen a shopping cart (and given it back), but I’ve never stolen a sign.

My friends and I almost stole a sign at a pier in Mystic, CT. There was this big metal novelty sign that said “Throwing Rocks, 50 Cents-Please Pay At Office.” I tried to unscrew it with a key but the screws were stripped-guess someone else had tried it.
