own a macbook pro

I do have a laptop PC. But I want to change to Mac. Still not completely sure because i own some softeware that can only run under Windows. Though that should not be a problem as Windows can also run on a mac, but this does lead to extra costs for extra software (Vista home softeware). And that is beside the cost differance between a PC and a mac.
I calculated a MacBook Pro 17 inch + big screen cost me over 3500 euro!! While the same pc configuration would be less then 2000 euro.

Still thinking…...

should i accomplish this goal by saving and purchasing in one big splurge – or – finance it so i have it for school. hmmm contemplation.
