do work i was made for

I know a guy who has the kind of life I want to end up with. He is one of those people you hear about all the time who did a million odd jobs, then at 45 he finally connected the dots and found a way to do everything he loves in one place. He now teaches culinary arts in the local highschool, coaches track and soccer, and runs marathons. But you don’t get that perfect fit without trying a lot of other things. I guess I’m still in the trying part, but I’m so ready to connect the dots that I can taste it. But, can anyone tell me what art, cooking and running have in common? I guess they have ME in common.
