make DVD of kids' film clips

my husband got me a canon IXY camera in japan (the equivalent to the Elph i think), and the most awesome feature is the movie function, which also records sound. it’s cool because we can make all these little films—and it’s not like you need hours of long films watching the kids run around the house. but you have one-minute clips of them doing something hella cute…and then you can put cheesy music to it, and voila! you have a video. we posted some on the web so famiy could see them, but i would like to put them one DVD and mail them to faraway family and friends.
