I’m really happy with the result. It’s so much lighter.

Took about 4 days to do my son helped a little
Got all the choco pudding off the ceiling so happy about that

It’s a lovely colour now and it looks a million times better than it did before
I even cleaned out the cupboards as well!

First I have to get the chocolate pudding that exploded all over the ceiling off first I’ve spent all weekend doing just that and my arms ache though I’m now half way through that joyful job.
Then it’s the prep work then …painting
Bought the paint, brushes and rollers and I’ve given myself this week and the weekend to do it

I bought the paint and went to yoga class. When I came home, the trim and doors were done! My partner and I did the walls that afternoon and it was all done by lunch the next day = easy. Two days later we got notice to move from the landlord!

The kitchen and 2 hallways are painted. It is so nice now. I am happy that it is done! My step-dad helped us. He will b back tomorrow to help finish up some spots that didnt cover all the way. I am looking forward to buying some art for the newly painted kitchen!

I spoke with my grandfather, who just had his house painted. I am going to go and see the results, and make an appt with his painter if I like his work.

So, I wasn’t too thrilled with my original results in “tangerine dream.” Yesterday we got our leftover paint tinted, and we did a faux parchment finish with “pumpkin pie.”

I am really pleased with the results, but it is amazing to me how much work painting is. The faux finish was really easy, and didn’t use much paint at all. We have LOTS left. I’ll have to find something fun to do with the left overs.

Painted the kitchen last week. Bright Orange! I think we may do some faux finishing to tone it down a bit, but it’s growing on me.
