After I finish Culinary School I may do the post graduate course which sends me to Italy for three months to study italian cuisine. At the same time I’m also debating just moving there..
How to move to italy
How I did it: I planned the move quite a long time before actually coming over. In those 2 years I learned the language as best I could and travelled out to visit areas I was thinking of living in.
Lessons & tips: Learn the language before you come. I used Pimsleur CDs I got from the libruary and learned in the car on the way to work and walking to town in my lunch break. They were excellent and by far the best as I tried quite a few.
Resources: Pimsleur Italian Course from the libruary. Download it onto your MP3 player.

I really think Italy is for me, i have visited 3 times for about 1 month each time, It’s The most Beautyful-Romantic place ever!!
i’m Working on the cruise ships at the moment and when i raise money, i’m off to the country of dreams to live with my boyfriend, it will be amazing to live closer to him, and also live in paradice…I CANT WAIT xx
Morghanza is ready.. for what? not sure.
It’s beautiful, full of beautiful people. The romance that lingeres in the air around every corner, seems utterly divine.
I have decided that I would like to move to Italy and move around if I need to, but stay for an extended amount of time to experience tranquil, beautiful life for myself. The only problem is that I have a great job and I don’t want to throw away a great career…
Ever since I was nine i wanted to leave America and go to Europe. About a year later i decided that Italy was the place for me. When I finaly graduate from high school I am going to move there. I really want to be a doctor there, I wonder if I can go to college and med school there?
Graduated and moved to Bergamo in Lombardy – absolutely worth doing although a little lonely at first, and it does allow me to see my boyf on a slightly more frequent basis, even if we still do live on opposite sides of the country!
I’m not looking at emigration for another 5 years. Both to make absolutely certain that this is what I want to do, and to pay off some school debt and get some experience in my field to make myself hirable.
Moving near family would make it much easier, but I still need to visit many more times and learn the language better.
