Yes! I’m doing it!!!
I had a set back in September since I couldn’t get to the race due to the freeway closures and the triathlon that made it impossible to get from one side of town to the other. Fortunately, they allowed me to make up the run, which I plan to do in Dec.
I signed up for another 10K this past weekend, which was also postponed for reasons unknown. Fortunately, I signed up for another one this past weekend. I walked with some friends instead of running. Apparently, I’ve inspired them to take on the same goal next year.
I signed up for a Turkey Trot next week, which means I’m only 2 races away!

Yay! Done! I cannot believe I’ve made it so far. I’ve signed up for the Sep & Nov runs & will sign up for the Oct run tomorrow. Oh, boy! I’m happy that I’ve been doing this! :) 8 months ago

Yay! Done! I knew I was going to get busier towards the end of the month, so I made sure I got this 10K in! I know I haven’t been sore after the runs, which makes me think I should run faster. I have been tired, evidenced by my need to sleep like a hibernating bear. 10 months ago

Amazing! So far, I’ve completed 10K run monthly. I’m halfway through the year, so it’s looking promising. I remember squeezing a few in during the last weekends of the month just to make the goal.
One month, I did the bikram yoga 30 day challenge and squeezed in the 10k and zumba classes during the last week of the month. I thought that I pushed my limits and it different feel that bad. Honestly, my body didn’t feel wonderful, but my mind, heart and soul were glowing! It was a mental push and I pushed through. How can I pull that effort out regularly? 10 months ago

I did this in January. I didn’t expect to sign up for many more, but it has been getting easier each time. I have been beating my previous times, so at least I know that I’m improving. I have one this weekend, but I don’t think I’ll beat my time since the hill is really steep. 15 months ago
