i picked up Yoga Journal’s guide to 21 Days of Commitment. I’m going to pick up a yoga mat tomorrow and give this a shot. Hopefully this will help alleviate the pain in my lower back. 1 month ago

I gave up shots for Lent. I did really well at it except when I was in Mexico. I didn’t even do shots on my birthday. 1 month ago
July & August were pretty much pissed away (what a surprise) but September is definitely going to be a test of my stamina & endurance. I got another full time job (social lives are for losers) on top of bartending 32 hours a week. 4 days a week i work from 7:30am to approximately midnight. This leaves me with 1 day with a morning shift, 1 day with a night shift and one full day off. Its making me reevaluate how i spend my time since i can’t afford to waste any of it (reminiscent of January’s goal).
God, I need a cup of coffee. 8 months ago
i’m stuck. i can’t think of another goal, so i guess i’ll just continue with the past few months goals of 1. using time more productively 2. yoga/being more active 3. counting blessings 4. reading all the books in my library (actual 43t goal) 5. working on 1 project a week
this feels like a cop out though 11 months ago
alright, since April was a failure i’ve got double duty in May. Its time to actually go to yoga and finish that giant friggin book. Plus Ive decided to complete one project a week (today begins week #3 of this) and upkeep a social calendar. Alright, this month may not be as boring as i thought it was going to be… 12 months ago
terrible. redo.
okay, not completely terrible, but my goal was not met. i had two great road trips, read at least one book, and started another cos i said i would finish it by 4/30. i didn’t so now for May… 12 months ago
This one is a little more difficult to sum up. Boyfriend is now Ex Boyfriend so finding a roommate and not wallowing in self-pity is important. I’m trying to be even more social, get out and not watch Casablanca 100x while eating two tons of ice cream (or drinking liters upon liters of vodka). I’m blessed enough to have a roommate nearly fall into my lap (on my birthday no less!).
Maybe March can be about counting blessings… 14 months ago
I’m trying to be a little more healthy this month. Yoga is one of my 43t goals so I’m trying to find a place close by, but they only have classes at the crack of dawn. This one’s going to be hard. I bought a bike and have started biking to and from work and to go out with friends. The bike is helping me continue January’s goal of using my time more wisely, allowing me to get errands done and socialize more easily. I’ve also started reading Dorian Gray again, which I had left at my moms for a few weeks. He’s back and I’m trying to wade through the flowery language.
Also, hopefully Boyfriend move is this month so I’m trying to finish preparing the house.
Little steps in self-improvement. 15 months ago
Let’s just that I’m trying to use my time in January more wisely and save myself a little money in the mean time. To accomplish this, I’ve been making lists of things like crazy- things to do, buy, and get done. Errands to run and ways to enrich my life. Part of this goal has led me cross off a 43t goal (wine-cork cork-board) and work on 2 other goals (read one book a month & read all the books in my library). Though I may have only read one book out of the library and I keep buying books, I’ve started a ball rolling. I’ve also started playing around with infusing my own alcohols, learning more about other alcohols, and having a few more adventures so this goal has been a success. 15 months ago
