take my dog to the beach

he’s still a bit too young (9 weeks!) but hopefully this summer we can find a nice dog friendly beach so he can meet the ocean for the first time =] should be fun!

My labrador gets to go to the creek at my uncle’s cabin every summer and has been to the lake our relatives in Massachusettes like to go to once but never to the beach. I lived in San Diego for 6 years when I was younger and hope to move back sometime in the next few years. I really miss going to the beach all the time:(
I want my dog to swim in the ocean at least once in his life…
We went to the beach for spring break a few years ago but my jerk of a dad wouldn’t let my dog and my bro’s dog go b/c he didn’t want them in the RV. My mom’s stupid yorkie got to go and see the ocean but my doggie didn’t:(
Being a lab, my dog LOVES to swim! Hates baths though^_
I think I might go for a ride to the nearest beach with my friends as soon as the weather gets warm again and finally take my dog!

It’s starting to get really hot. I don’t see this happening until next fall. (taking it off the list for now). Sorry, Charlie.

She says she wants to go again!

She LOVED it!! I’m going to take her again. I couldn’t take her off the lead because she was in heat and she isn’t trained properly. Next time hopefully I will be able to.
You can’t tell me this dog doesn’t look HAPPY.

The only downside was she got very sick in the car.

I’ve been meaning to do this for awhile. He’s never seen the ocean before.

Angus loves the beach. Just loves it. We started off taking him every week, but because he’s not very well trained (please see other goals) we had some horrible people get angry at him and we’ve been a bit beach-shy. I took him the other day and he had the best time. Poor little love was so tired he slept all day and was still buggered the next day!
