Ironically, I could invite others to join this goal without using the following work around…

This is the back door method

When you add a goal to your Life List on 43Things, you may find that you do not have a link on the upper right that says “Share this goal with others”. But you want to invite other 43T’ers to join in the goal. Here’s the method that I learned from Todd Schoonover.

Copy this URL http://www.43things.com/invitations/invite/ at the top of one window in your browser.

Open another browser window and go to the main page of your goal. Copy the number that is found right before the end of your goal’s URL. In the case of the goal for the February Scavenger Hunt, the number is 4729212.

Add the number 4729212 to the end of the invite-URL (in your first window) like so http://www.43things.com/invitations/invite/4729212
