How I did it: the aim of this goal was to adapt new eating habits , be increasing the amount of vegetables intake , and decrease the amount of meat consumption .
to achieve my goal . i set a three phases plan , which included:
- being a vegetarian for a week
- being vegetarian for a month
- balance food and become mostly vegetarian
the real hard work was the first few days , i suffered a lot because i am a student and i eat in the restaurants most of the time . i had to search for places that offers what i need to eat which is non meaty products , and they are kind of rare . then a friend recommended that i should go anywhere but order salads only , it was a wise advice as salad is very colorful dish and very healthy indeed.
then second phase i had to learn how to cook healthy foods and allocate time for cooking. i discovered few recipes and invented some .
after the second phase , my body had already adapted and trained not to eat meat . so the ratio of meat in my meals is very little now . but we can never neglect meat from our feeding , it include the necessarily proteins and lipid for a healthy body
the real correct diet is the balanced one. Read how I did it… 15 months ago
