We started looking into moving to Australia only a week or so ago, but it looks really good and we really want to do it. Just trying to get as much information as there is and find a best way to pressue it… Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks
How I did it: Used to live here some 10 years ago and always wanted to come back. About six years ago i seriously started to think about returning, but life was going in a different direction at the time. Wasnt until beginning of last year that things was starting to fall into place and midyear the "migration-ball" started to roll. Stepped of the plane onto the Australian red mud first week of November 2008.
Lessons & tips: Make sure you have ALL paperwork collected and neetly in a folder before you go to the embassy. Also - quicker to make and appointment and GO IN to the embassy than post your paperwork and hope for the best. When I eventually had collected everything I needed (leave yourself PLENTY of time to collect raports form government agencys - like police rapports from all countries you have lived in the last 10 years) I was in and out of the embassy in 3 hours with the stamp in my passport.... Compare that to hearing about people who posted the papers and 6 months later still had not gotten an answer...

My ongoing quest for Australia is within my grasps! It seems that I have one more trip to the Australian embassy to obtain my passport, bypassing a visa. Since my father was briefly stationed in Exmouth, Australia when I was born, and I was born prior to 1986, that I am entitled to Australian citizenship regardless of the status of my parents’ citizenry. I think if I keep my head down and push forward, I should be reclaiming my first step onto Australian soil since 1980! I can’t wait until the day I can take this goal of my list, the wait has been long enough…

I want to move to Australia, be able to live there and work, being employed or work for myself just living there.
If I won’t find any other reason not to live there, I want to get Australian citizenship.
I REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAALLY wanna move to Australia. Sydney or Perth, preferably. Get a kick ass job, live by the coast, and have FUN
I always wanted to move to australia it’s a beautiful place, and I’m just tried of being in the US. I want a change of pace, to meet new and interesting people, try new food. I just want to try new things like surfing I heard that can be fun. It’s just getting way to cold here with all this snow and I love the heat because I love to run. I just want to get up in the morning and know that today is gonna be a nice and beautiful day otuside. Hopefully I will be able to moved there next year or at least visit.

i’m sick of england.
i’m sick of the weather, the social life, the school life.
i’ve recently been talking to somebody from australia over the internet and they make it seem like such a fantastic place. I have relatives over there as well and they love it. I love the beach, I love the heat and i’m sure i could adapt to the vicious insects they obtain. There’s nothing about England which i would tend to miss, except perhaps the shopping in Central London. But hey,
win some you loose some, right?
i am currently living (?) in phoenix, az, a horrible pit of filth and despair. i have dreamed of australia since i was a child, and especialy now that it seems the commies are taking over the U.S.A.

I’m madly in love with Australia, and no this isn’t just a fleeting thing commonly seen in teenagers (more particularly in overstressed seniors). I’ve seen my fair share of classmates stressing, crying, doubling over in hysterical laughter though there’s nothing funny, after which they all declare they’re moving to the US, Australia or somewhere else on the planet once they’re done with high school.
That’s not the way I think, am, that’s not what I want. I took a liking to the golden coast when I was five – and how many five-year-old EUROPEAN kids fall in love with a country on the other side of the world without having been there before?
I don’t plan on going to college in my country; from what I’ve seen already, there’s not that many courses that interest me. I’ve applied to several colleges abroad already, or sent requests for information, which I got. Going to uni in Australia – it just seems so wonderful. And if I do turn out to obtain a degree in Belgium, I’ll always be able to move there later on, right?
I’ve got plentyyyy of time.
