there’s a drive-in movie theater about an hour and 15 minutes from my house. plans of going are in fact definite :)

Not all that great 2 years ago

Never did this until just now—there’s one showing Shrek 3 around here and I was all excited to go to a drive-in theater for it. But the screen was hard to see, the sound wasn’t all that great and there were lots of jerks moving around in the middle of the movie and driving with their headlights on. I can see why they arn’t more popular.

There’s one about 45 minutes from my house in PA. They are dying out everywhere. So much better than a movie theater! You don’t have to get out of your car, cram as much food as you can in the car, and wear pjs.

I still love them 3 years ago

In high school we went all the time(they had the carload for $5 specials all the time)...It is amazing how many you could squeeze in a car…of course no seatbelt laws back then. There are still a few around. Here in Nebraska there is one in Neliegh. Between the movies, they show the old time intermission films. I think most now, you usually tune into your radio, to listen, they don’t use the speakers anymore. I definitely recommend going to one before they are all gone.
