Always do my best.

So the delayed deadline at the end of October seemed like a lucky break, but wait… now the plan is to submit another grant proposal by next Wednesday (not instead of that one, but this one seemed like a long shot considering the time and the effort needed for the other one, but now, the scenery has changed… at least the hand that feeds us thinks so! :)). Time is too short, probably there is not even enough time to panic! The next couple of days will have an uncomfortable resemblance to hell… ‘argh,’ is the suitable expression, I think.

There, just needed to vent… now back to work (or back to the mental hole of not knowing what to do, to be more precise).

Faustus has been a good boy these days. This last week was filled with unpleasant tasks at work, you know, the things that need to be done, and you don’t really like to do them, but there is no way to go around it. All right, so I had a full week of nothing but unpleasant tasks, and I did what I was supposed to do, and it’s over now. _{A bit of self-congratulation… but it’s Wednesday, so I can do whatever I want!}

Now I have to tend to some of the other things I had to skip during this time… including unpacking stuff from last month’s trip _{not really 30 days ago… rather using the ambiguity of the language as further motivation, you see :)}

the title from ‘concentrate more on my work.’ :) For now, it’ll be more related to work, though… making sure I get the most out of my time here, while looking for new opportunities elsewhere.

I can’t decide which of the Four Agreements are the hardest to do. Right now, I think it’s this one.
