Today i bought some new tyres (schwalbe mondials) which i think will be most suitable for the trail as well as my others rides before then. I got a good price so i am happy.

Last week, i bought a map North/East Australia by Quality Publishing Company and plotted most of the route on it. Doing this shows the parts where i will have to find the trail but it also shows small tracks and raods that i could use if i get stuck.
