I don’t know how comes I’ve never seen this film before and I wasn’t sure I hadn’t until spur of the moment I poured a glass of lucozade, rescued the bar of chocolate from the fridge and thought just maybe ..
And I cried, smiled, ahhhhed, wanted and wished and I can’t believe I hadn’t seen this movie before.
I loved it all ~ the story, the music, the unmistakable comedy quirks of Lisa Kudrow, and the beautiful landscapes of Ireland and a quote from Hilary Swank playing leading lady ~ “All I know is, if you don’t figure out this something, you’ll just stay ordinary, and it doesn’t matter if its a work of art, or a taco, or a pair of socks! Just create something … new, and there it is, and its you, out in the world, outside of you, and you can look at it, or hear it, or read it, or feel it … and you know a little more about … you. A little bit more than anyone else does … Does that make any sense at all?” 2 months ago

There a few King Kong movies out there. I just happen to catch the 2005 remake on TV yesterday. It’s the one with Jack Black and Naomi Watts. The special effects are good, but it the relationship of Ann Darrow (Naomi Watts) and Kong that really grab me. Truly a Beauty and the Beast story. You can see it on their faces through the whole movie. A great (and sad) love story, right to the tragic end.
I found tears in my eyes as Kong losses his grip on the Empire State Building and falls to earth. I need to watch this again. 6 months ago

I have always loved the comic book super heroes. (When I was a kid I wanted to be one, like Daredevil or Green Lantern.) This movie has been on the cable channels a lot lately and I find myself stopping to watch almost every time. Robert Downey Jr plays a good Tony Stark/Ironman.
One of my favorite parts is the very end. Tony revels to all he is Ironman and the movie breaks to the ending credits and the Black Sabbath song “Ironman” 10 months ago

I’m watching this now on Comedy Central. It is a very funny movie (maybe not for the younger kids in the family though) and I get a big kick out of it whenever I see it.
I shed a little tear every time I see Patches O’Houlihan get crushed by that big sign in Vegas.

not sure if it is one I will want to see again, and again, and again, but I would at least like to see it through all the way and be able to pay attention. It was called Real Metal about boxing robots. It was a family film, and I thought is was very cute!
Anybody else see it? What did you think? 13 months ago

At first, I did not think I could come up with 43 movies I could watch again and again. But with all the movies ever made, I’m sure I have watched 43 of them again; and then again, at least one more time.
My first three I do watch again and again, whenever I catch them on TV.
1. Shawshank Redemption – The ultimate story of hope, and to never give up. I love this movie.
2. Groundhog Day – I don’t know why I keep watching this movie. I must be caught up in the repetition that it goes through.
3. Star Wars – It’s Star Wars, nuff said. 13 months ago

I’d seen it once before i realised as i sat down to watch it but whereas the first time might be hazy i absolutely loved every second of it the second time around .. :)
Okay so typically a chick flick about 2 very different sisters (Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette) living theirs lifes with very different issues, they each go on a journey of forced self discovery and turn their lifes around.
It had me smiling, loling, groaning, gasping and brought tears to my eyes not once was i bored i was totally tuned in .. i will watch this again .. and again ..
This is a poem by E.E.Cummings which features at the end of the movie ..

so I am. Dancing movies for me are the best. My number one is Tap with Gregory Hines. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHSKqsFV1oQ&feature=endscreen&NR=1 I probably watched that movie 43 times or more last year. Played it so much, even the grandkids started watching it. Join in if you like. More to come from me. 14 months ago
