Whenever I have tried breathing meditation, I find that it taps into strong emotions and it’s difficult to continue. I have read there are ways to get round this involving visualisation of the breath, but I’ve yet to try this. I’ve found this easier to do when lying rather than sitting, so perhaps I’ll give it another try like that in the meantime.
