first i must learn how to build a time machine, as it is 2008. but as soon as i get that done i am set.
How to read 50 books in 2005
How I did it: I've caught up during holidays, otherwise I read during my commuting, and sometimes you just have to book evenings to do it, do not turn that computer on.
Lessons & tips: do not overstress over the timeframe, just read it will come naturally

I remember a book in my 50 books which I had read in 2005, it is Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience, by Mihalyi Csikszentmihalyi.
Csikszentmihalyi’s work was a milestone in psychological research and speaks directly to the game-playing experience. He was the first to really study the feeling of being “in the groove,†whether at physical or mental tasks—the exhilarating feeling of high productivity. That feeling is exactly what the best games create in their players. The book is unnecessarily wordy and has a tendency to say the same thing three times; aside from that, it’s an important contribution to our understanding of how challenges create pleasure.
Well, I got through 39, which is not too shabby. I blame the whole going to school thing. I didn’t used to have any time to read, but I do now, so I should probably make the same promise for 2007.
I had to move 80% of my goal to 2006, and of that about half (maybe less, if I get long winter holidays) will move to 2007
hmmm… gave up. Hv started working… even lesser time to read… this year down to 30 books/year
I didn’t even come close to reading 50 books last year. Maybe it was too ambitious, but I’m trying again this year. Gotta force myself back into the rhythm of reading regularly, especially fiction.
