I have wanted to go back to Dubrovnik since I was 18. The last time I was in Europe, near that area, that opportunity was killed by the Balkan wars of the ‘90’s. Since that place has calmed down a bit, it’s time for me to go back. I’m thinking this autumn might do it. I may even take in Split, Pula (although I think that is in Slovenia) and Zagreb as well (well, Zagreb may be a given, anyway, since you can’t go anywhere on the train/bus in Croatia without stopping in Zagreb – but I could be wrong). 15 months ago
